The AdvancED Postsecondary staff work closely with institutions to ensure quality education is provided to students. The process of accreditation provides an avenue to utilize a variety of criteria to assess the effectiveness of postsecondary programs. The objectives of the postsecondary accreditation process are to:

We operate three regional accrediting agencies, serving 32,000 institutions in over 70 countries educating more than 20 million students.
The North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) are accreditation divisions of AdvancED.
